Rotanak graduated from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia majoring in Food Science and Chemical Engineering in 2011. He got a job at Crown Beverage Cans Factory in Cambodia right after his graduation. After 6 months, he then went to Korea for 2 years to work on his Master Degree in Food Safety. Upon returning to his home country, he started working at a local company that supplies industrial water purification chemical and equipment as a Sale and Service Engineer.
At this point, you might be wondering if you are reading the right application. The answer is "Yes!". After serveral years down the path and some mental breakdown, he finally decided to change his path completely to working with what he likes and what he is actually good at, Computer and Technology. He has always been helping people around with technology related issues anyway.
Rotanak became acquainted with Linux and open source software when he started his first job in IT. He finds Open Source Software very inspiring. The idea that software/knowledge should be free motivated him to quickly learned and equipped himself with tools that allows him to effectively carried out his duty; and he recently becomes a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator.
